A Message from our Founder.

Our world is continuously facing new and evolving challenges and World Without Barriers stands ready to devise creative solutions to some of society’s complex issues.

From the time I was a child, I was taught that educational attainment can have far-reaching, lifelong, generational benefits. As an adult, I know this truth to be self-evident. I have long believed that education can be leveraged as a mechanism to lift underserved groups out of poverty. It is not a revolutionary or novel idea, but one that works consistently in practice and is supported by robust evidence.

We currently have the most educated population out of any point in human history, which masks the fact that certain groups have been left behind. Therefore, it is my personal mission and in society’s collective interest to change the current dynamic. I envision a world in which quality education is available to all children regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status, cultural affiliation, or geographic location, and I founded World Without Barriers to get us closer to that goal.

Transformational changes rarely happen overnight and typically require determination and persistence. I extend my profound gratitude to those who are in it for the long haul and have supported our cause in ways big and small. It is because of you that we are able to implement and expand our educational programs. It is a marathon, not a sprint, and it is never too late to start making a change. Fortunately, there are many ways to be a part of this change.

Many of us in the developed world want to give back, want to have an impact, and want to improve the world. We desire to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, but may not know how to do it or think that only billionaires can make a real change. I strongly believe that no amount of funding, time, or effort is insignificant and every bit helps. Even micro-donations, when pooled together, can become life-changing.

World Without Barriers has achieved remarkable results in the regions in which we operate due to the hard work and dedication of our team, donors, sponsors, and partners. At World Without Barriers, we are a team of professionals with varied and complimentary skills that enable us to maximize our impact. More importantly, we are doers, thinkers, facilitators, motivators, educators, and advocates. What we have in common is a passion to change the world and leave a lasting positive impact. It is our legacy and duty.

True to our name, we are breaking down barriers and improving lives. But there is more work to be done and a long way to go before we can achieve educational equality. I hope you will join me in making the world a better place: for ourselves, for our children, for others, and for generations to come.
